October 22, 2021: George Will discusses his new book, "American Happiness and Discontents." Co-sponsored with the Hertog Foundation.

George Will joins us live in Washington, D.C., for an in-person discussion of his new book, American Happiness and Discontents: The Unruly Torrent, 2008-2020 (2021).

George Will writes a twice-weekly column on politics and domestic and foreign affairs. He began his column with The Washington Post in 1974, and he received the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1977. American Happiness and Discontents," his latest book, was released in 2021. Among his other works are: One Man’s America: The Pleasures and Provocations of Our Singular Nation (2008), Restoration: Congress, Term Limits and the Recovery of Deliberative Democracy (1992), Men at Work: The Craft of Baseball (1989), and Statecraft as Soulcraft (1983). Will grew up in Champaign, Ill., attended Trinity College and Oxford University, and received a Ph.D. from Princeton University.
